UBE110: Introduction to Peer Education

This course provides training in peer education following the National BACCHUS Certified Peer Education program.

Students will actively engage in on-campus events and outreach, will also receive a Health and Wellness Peer Education Certificate, and will learn about opportunities to be a Wellness Peer Educator. This course is a prerequisite for membership in the UB Men’s Group and is highly recommended for all Health Promotion student positions.

Please make sure register for the Wellness Section.

The instructor may recruit some people from each class to become a Wellness Peer Educator, which gives you the opportunity to work closely with our Men’s Group or Student Survivor Advocacy Alliance. Please ask the instructor for details.
