CAT program returns to Buffalo
State to establish Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technologies

It’s official: Buffalo’s CAT is back. After nearly a decade without a New York State Center for Advanced Technology program that supports industry/university collaborations to drive job creation and economic growth, Buffalo is once again home to a CAT, this time a joint venture between UB and Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI).

Festival to spotlight new researchers
A research festival designed to provide UB investigators with the tools and information they need to succeed in the competition for external support, as well as highlight state-of-the-art research in the areas of genomics and information technology, will be held May 16-17 in the Student Union, North Campus.
