Buffalo startup Verivend raises $1 million in investment round

As reported by The Buffalo News, BEP-supported startups Verivend and Dimien are receiving funding from Launch NY's Investor Network, a syndicate of more than 300 investors who gain exclusive access to pre-vetted startup deals in Upstate New York.

Verivend, a tech startup that has developed a cloud-hosted, secure, and paperless platform that allows investment sponsors and their investors to quickly raise and deploy capital, reached its latest investment goal with the help of $125,000 from Launch NY’s Investor Network.

The Buffalo-based battery technology firm is developing high-capacity batteries for use in electric vehicles and other storage applications, including domestic energy storage.
