The Power of Partnerships
As reported by Buffalo Business First, UB is among New York's top 10 recipients of federal grant dollars from the National Institutes of Health. The NIH remains among UB's biggest pool of funding, with UB receiving 220 grants for $87.8 million in 2023. UB has been working on a plan to double annual research dollars from $200 million to $400 million as it works toward a goal of becoming a Top 25 public research university.
There were several other UB-supported organizations on the list, including POP Biotechnologies, Cytocybernetics Inc., Neurovascular Diagnostics Inc., Canget Biotekpharma LLC, and Meditati Inc.
