Each year, Buffalo Inno selects five regionally based startups to watch in the year ahead. The publication's 2024 picks include five startups that all have varying degrees of support from the University at Buffalo's Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships team—from seed investment to mentorship to facilitating state tax incentives. Companies on the list include:
- LenderLogix, which provides digital tools for point-of-sale and automation for credit unions, banks, mortgage banks and brokers.
- Offerwell, an online real estate platform to help agents submit, accept and manage offers
- CleanFiber, which manufactures building insulation from recycled corrugated cardboard.
- SelectFI, a software company for auto dealerships to help customers with financing quickly, more accurately and in greater compliance.
- Kredit Academy, a financial literacy platform that helps young adults and teens build credit.
