Buffalo Inno reports that Derrick Parson, a second-time entrepreneur and executive director of entrepreneur support organization The Exchange at Beverly Gray, shifted focus during the pandemic to launch a new startup, Latte.
Latte, a business-to-business professional wellness platform that helps connect employees with mentors, is a graduate of UB's Cultivator program. The story states that a $100,000 investment from Cultivator helped Latte grow from a team of two to five.
As reported, Latte's goal is to increase Black, Indigenous and people of color's visibility in the workplace and creates opportunities for mentorship across organizations.
Latte plans to work with companies on a private Beta and announce a seed round raise in 2023.
