The Power of Partnerships
Richard Kim, director of startup ventures at the University at Buffalo was named to Buffalo Business First's 2023 40 Under 40 list.
Kim leads UB's efforts to strengthen startup activity and growth in WNY, with a personal goal of increasing support for underserved startup founders. He works to get funding into the hands of business leaders without access to wealthy friends and family.
Working closely with startup founders in Cultivator, Kim tells program participants to focus on their people more than their products, because if employees take ownership over their objectives the products will take care of themselves.
