Join and support MFSA

Membership in the Minority Faculty and Staff Association (MFSA) is open to all faculty and staff employed (and/or retired) at the University at Buffalo, regardless of religion, age, race or color, marital status, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation.

  • Annual MFSA membership dues are $30.00 and the funds are used primarily to provide scholarships to deserving historically underrepresented and underserved UB students.
  • Online payments for membership dues with a credit card can be made through the "Pay Membership Dues"  button located on the top right corner of this page or in the UB Marketplace Store.
  • The annual MFSA membership cycle runs from September 1st through August 31st.

Benefits of MFSA membership

Faculty and staff who pay the annual MFSA membership dues receive the following benefits:

  • Two free tickets to attend the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration event
  • Notification of MFSA, UB, and community events and programs
  • Eligibility to nominate and vote for MFSA officers and MFSA committee chairs
  • Eligibility to serve as a MFSA officer and/or MFSA committee chair
  • Eligibility to vote on general MFSA issues
