Deeply committed to environmental stewardship through education, research, and civic engagement, UB is a national leader in reducing energy costs, promoting alternative energy sources, and working to abate climate change. This semester we focus on global concerns through a range of distinguished speakers known for their insights in the field, in addition to the prominent, ongoing efforts of UB faculty, staff, students, and alumni in making our community and our world more environmentally sound.
