Textbook Editing

How do YOU talk to yourself? Want to help us share those skills with the world? Let's create a textbook~!

Ever wonder what it would be like to help write a textbook?

Project description

This project will expose students to all aspects of creating an academic textbook, which is currently projected to be an Open-Source offering (though this aspect may change). The textbook uses a systems-theory-based approach to presenting current scientific knowledge in the field of Intrapersonal Communication. This field includes self-talk, personal reflection, cognition, inner communication processes, and components drawn from many connected disciplines. We will help the author layout, edit, and compile ancillary resource materials that may be digitally available to future students and faculty in the field.

Project outcome

Outcome will be to compile a submission-ready manuscript, geared to the undergraduate-level student, complete with additional learning materials, to an online publisher.
