Our program staff will work closely with you from the start of your college career through graduation to create the support community you need to succeed at the University at Buffalo.
CULTURE offers robust programming, resources and opportunities with a focus on student success and career readiness, connecting our students with resources that make a difference.
CULTURE provides participating students access to:
- One-on-one peer mentoring. You will be connected with a Peer Mentor who will help you understand and access UB’s resources and build relationships. Additionally, Peer Mentors serve as role models who demonstrate the value of fostering interconnected relationships and support their mentees towards increased engagement and participation in the university community.
- Affinity group seminars. You will be able to interact with people with the same and similar interests through our collaborations with the Intercultural and Diversity Center.
- Skills and capacity development workshops. You will learn what skills are relevant for you to succeed in reaching your academic, career, wellness and financial goals. Our workshops will also prioritize social events that are beneficial to your overall success.
- Career development seminars. Learn from the experts from UB, industry and the Buffalo community to chart your own career path through the Career Design Center. The interactions will provide you with networking opportunities with faculty and career professionals.
- Academic support and tutoring. We will help you set goals, prioritize, find solutions and overcome challenges. You can gain an academic edge with tutoring services, offered through
Tutoring and Academic Support Services.
