UB on the Green is a free, outdoor, alcohol-free, family friendly festival where our campus meets the community on the iconic South Campus Hayes Hall Lawn. Come learn about various university resources in fun and engaging ways while listening to great local music!
Featuring JJ Swing, this night is dedicated to health in the community with free health screenings provided by UBMD, UB Nursing and UB Dental, and fun activities for the children.
Featuring the Kenny Hawkins All Star Band, come learn what UB and the University District has to offer with departments, schools and community groups leading fun and interactive presentations.
UB on the Green is held on the Hayes Hall lawn on the South Campus (campus map). Free parking is available in the NFTA Park and Ride and Townsend Lots. Spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and blankets. Refreshments from food trucks are available for sale. UB on the Green is a family friendly, alcohol free event.
In addition to musical performances, the series focuses each night’s events around a specific theme designed to welcome neighbors to the university and introduce them to different aspects of UB.
