UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking a Senior Program Associate to strengthen industry engagement and foster collaborative research and development projects in the physical sciences, engineering, and advanced manufacturing sectors. These industries encompass areas such as semiconductors, materials, energy, applied AI for manufacturing, and other technology-driven fields.
The Associate will connect companies with UB’s research expertise, facilities, and technology assets; develop proposals and agreements; manage applied R&D projects; and represent BEP in industry-facing activities. This position will support UB’s partner program of the NY SMART I-Corridor Tech Hub’s Commercialization and Collaboration Center (C3) and the Center of Excellence in Materials Informatics (CMI).
UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking an Operations Assistant, CBLS to support the daily operations and programs at the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences (CBLS). Located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, CBLS is a four-story, high-tech facility that houses a multi-tenant business incubator for deep tech and community startups, university research laboratories for faculty and students, scientific and computing equipment, and serves as the primary location for BEP staff.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for BEP at CBLS and play a key role in creating a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused experience for visitors, tenants, researchers, staff, vendors, and community partners. Reporting to the Building Operations Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the facility while providing administrative, operational, and customer service support to a diverse community of building occupants and stakeholders. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information, building access, and visitor records with integrity and confidentiality.
UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking a Contracts Manager to help facilitate industry-sponsored research and technology transfer of innovative new technologies necessary to get novel products to market and to foster economic growth in the Western New York Community. You will work with diverse faculty who are conducting leading-edge research to enable the creation and testing of innovations that solve real-world problems. In this role, you will be part of the Technology Transfer team and will work with the Office of Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) and other BEP staff to enable industry-sponsored research and technology transfer at UB.
