We have a Black history education problem in K-12 schools. Teachers are not knowledgeable enough, Eurocentric curriculum, and political interference are just some of the issues blocking effective Black history instruction. This webinar will explain my Black history framework that has been adopted by school systems around the country. I will explain some misconception surrounding Black history and will share how we can reimagine the subject in K-12 schooling.
