Panel supports Women's Studies
 FSEC recommends transforming Women's Studies from program to department
After nearly two months of consideration, the Faculty Senate Executive Committee at its March 29 meeting approved the transformation of the Women's Studies Program in the College of Arts of Sciences into a full-fledged department.

Architects get $3 million DOE grant
The Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access (IDEA Center) in the School of Architecture and Planning has been awarded a five-year, $3 million grant from the United States Department of Education through the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research.
