The top finishers for the track squad that placed first at the Albany Invitational this past weekend included Ruth Conlon (discus - 39.22m, hammer - 52.77m), Rashidi Greene (discus - 45.28m, hammer - 51.35m) and David Monk (200m - 22.57, 400m - 49.66), who had two first-place finishes apiece.

Tennis

Women's

Marshall 7, UB 0

Miami (OH) 7, UB 0

The women's tennis team dropped home MAC matches against Marshall, 7-0, and Miami (OH), 7-0, this past weekend.

Coach Kathy Twist's team will try to earn its first MAC win as it hosts Akron at 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Men's

Miami (OH) 4, UB 0

The men's tennis team remained winless in the Mid-American Conference as it lost to visiting Miami (OH), 4-0, on Saturday. Coach Russ Crispell's team will travel to DeKalb, Ill., to take on MAC opponent Northern Illinois on Saturday.

Track and Field

Men and women placed first at Albany Invitational

Both the men's (190 pts.) and women's (205 pts.) track teams placed first at the Albany Invitational this past weekend.

Top finishers for Buffalo included Ruth Conlon (discus - 39.22m, hammer -52.77m) for the women's team, and Rashidi Greene (discus - 45.28m, hammer - 51.35m) and David Monk (200m - 22.57, 400m - 49.66) for the men's. All three had two first-place finishes apiece.

The women's 4x100-meter relay squad (48.00) and the 4x400-meter squad (3:56.42) both placed first, while the men's 4x400-meter relay team also was victorious with a time of 3:20.74.

Some members of the Bulls squads will take part in the Penn Relays this week. Buffalo hosts the UB Open this weekend.
