The Bulls fell behind early, losing the first five matches and trailing 17-0 to SRU, but fought back to make it close in the end. Jacob Schaus started the comeback with a 15-0 technical fall win at 174-pounds. He was followed by Matt Ricci who dominated his opponent, pinning Travis Friedman at the 2:47 mark. Against the Central Michigan Chipewas, the Bulls got off to a good start, winning the first two weight classes. John Eschenfelder won a 9-5 decision in the heavyweight division. He was followed by senior tri-captain Brian Schaal, who took a 15-9 decision at 125-pounds.
