Campaign at 101 percent of goal

Published: December 3, 2008

UB’s 2008 Campaign for the Community has raised $865,300, or 101 percent of its goal of $850,000.

The amount raised as of Jan. 14 is based on the participation of 42 percent of UB employees who have returned their pledge cards.

In addition to reaching its monetary goal, this year’s campaign aims to increase the employee participation rate, which for last year’s campaign was 45.64 percent.

David L. Dunn, vice president for health sciences, is campaign chair.
