A workshop designed to help managers and supervisors learn how to give feedback will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Feb. 26 in 120 Clemens Hall, North Campus.

“Behind the Scenes at UB,” a free tour of units and programs on the North, South and Downtown campuses sponsored by the Professional Staff Senate, will continue on Feb. 12 with a tour of the Downtown Medical Campus.

The Professional Staff Senate will hold its first general membership meeting of the spring semester at 3 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus.

UB Campus Dining & Shops has announced that the three Tim Hortons locations at UB now accept FlexiBull Bucks and will honor the discount that plan holders currently receive at all UB Campus Dining & Shops locations.

The Option Transfer Period for state employees, during which workers can change their health insurance carrier, voluntarily cancel coverage or delete dependents, runs through Dec. 31.

UUP members who earn vacation days now may donate them to state workers who are unable to return to work because of Hurricane Sandy.

UB will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

Members of United University Professions who have accrued more than the maximum-allowed 40 vacation days may donate them to a UUP colleague who is seriously ill or injured and has run out of sick-leave accruals.

The Professional Staff Senate is sponsoring tours of the new Crossroads Culinary Center (C3), including a special lunch just for staff members, on Dec. 6 and Dec. 13.
