Local Indigenous and underrepresented students from the Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) at UB enjoyed an up close and personal introduction to the whole gamut of health care careers on July 23 during the fourth annual Seventh Generation event at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The term “Seventh Generation” refers to a Haudenosaunee philosophy based on the idea that people need to remember the last seven generations and the next seven.
