Volunteers from the School of Dental Medicine turned out to brighten the smiles of veterans at the Dentistry Smiles on Veterans event March 6. Patients had an opportunity to establish a new dental home and students gained an understanding of giving back to the community, the broader impact of interprofessional collaboration on patient outcomes and whole-body wellness.
