Earlier this month, University Communications photographer Meredith Forrest Kulwicki joined Alissa Ujie Diamond, assistant professor in the School of Architecture and Planning, for a seminar Diamond is teaching for new and transfer students. Students visited Diefendorf Meadow on the South Campus to forage plants for a fabric-printing activity. Diamond also has produced two zines — "Foraged Art Materials in So-Called Western New York," Volume 1 and Volume 2 — that explain the various ways to make art materials from foraged plants.
