"Solar Stakeout" at the UB Anderson Gallery, so dubbed by freelance photographer Nancy J. Parisi, commenced at 8:47 a.m. on Monday. Workers and volunteers showed up, setting up tables outside for complimentary eclipse-viewing glasses, black-and-white cookies, bubbles to blow and bottles of water. As the sky darkened at 3:18 p.m., the nearby streetlights went on and the crowd prepared themselves for the celestial spectacle.
