Senior Jeenathan Williams began his spectacular night by scoring 11 points in a 17-4 first-half run. Williams led all players with 25 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Ronaldo Segu added 15 points and five assists — the only other Buffalo player besides Williams to finish in double figures.
Kent State cut the deficit to seven early in the second half, but the Bulls responded by scoring eight straight, capped off by a big three-pointer from David Skogman, extending the UB lead to 44-29.
The Bulls take their four-game winning streak on the road Tuesday night as they head to league-leading Toledo.
