One of the first events to kick off the academic year, Stronger Together Mask Tie-Dying set the standard that UB is community-centered and that together as Bulls we are keeping each other safe, says event organizer Tommy Vane, assistant director of student engagement for student governance and organizations.

Step 1: Twist the fabric into knots and secure with rubber bands.

Apply dye.

Red is good.

The majority of students seemed to spend more time on the mask they were giving away, wanting to ensure the recipient received a well-made gift.

A bit of color makes for a cheerful mask.

The more colors the better.

A participant writes a #StrongerTogether postcard to the student learning remotely who will receive the mask.
