For the spring 2018 Graduate Research Architecture Studio titled “Cages,” taught by Clinical Associate Professor Miguel Guitart, students were asked to explore the condition of the enclosure for one person through the exploration of wood and its manipulation. The design studio is part of the Material Culture Graduate Research Group in the Department of Architecture. The structures are on exhibit in the Hayes Hall Atrium through Sept. 27.
