The Department of Music commemorated the centennial birthday of Morton Feldman, one of America’s most influential postwar composers and a pivotal figure in UB’s musical history, with a series of concerts and lectures Jan. 12-13 on the North Campus. University Communications photographer Douglas Levere was there to document the third concert of the Feldman festival — the premier performance of newly commissioned works of five UB PhD composers by the internationally acclaimed JACK Quartet.
