ARC 301 students have put in a lot of hard work so far this semester on the production of buoyant objects, which were put to the test during the 10th annual regatta race on Sept. 29 at Gallagher Beach in the Outer Harbor. Teams, led by instructors Albert Chao, Mike Hoover, Laura Lubniewski, Rachel Martin and Brad Wales, investigated found and standard materials, joinery techniques, structural frameworks and skin systems.
