The Bulls are back

The weather may have forced the cancellation of the Bulls Welcome Back Blast — one of the highlights of Welcome Weekend — but that didn’t dampen any spirts as thousands of new UB students arrived on campus and celebrated what it means to be True Blue.

First, new students moved into their campus residence halls; then the festivities began. There was a parade, welcome events galore, the always-popular human interlocking UB on the field at Broadview Stadium and, as a special treat, a university convocation featuring remarks delivered by new UB President Caroline Attardo Genco, who mingled with students throughout their first few days on campus.
