Satish K. Tripathi announced on Tuesday that he’s stepping down as UB’s president next July and returning to his faculty role in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

His 14 years as president have been a time of extraordinary transformation for the university. There’s been impressive growth in the institution’s research portfolio and sponsored research expenditures, an enhanced and innovative educational experience for undergraduate and graduate students, and more extensive engagement with the region and world.
