‘Black Panther,’ ‘The Post’ headline movie series

“Black Panther” and “The Post” are among the free films being presented this season as part of the undergraduate Student Association’s popular Summer Film Series.

The series opens on June 18 and runs through Aug. 24. Screenings will take place on Monday and Friday nights on the Special Events Field adjacent to the Student Union on the North Campus, and on Wednesday night on the Hayes Hall lawn on the South Campus

Screenings will begin at 9:15 p.m. in June, 9 p.m. in July and 8:45 p.m. in August.

In the event of rain, North Campus screenings will move to 112 Norton Hall, except for the Aug. 20 screening, which will take place in the Student Union Theater, and the Aug. 24 screening, which will be announced. The rain location for South Campus screenings is 146 Diefendorf Hall.

The screenings, which are co-sponsored by Late Night UB, are open to members of the general public, as well as the UB community.

The schedule of movies:

  • June 18, 20 and 22: “Super Troopers 2.”
  • June 25, 27 and 29: “The Post.”
  • July 2 and 6: “Love Simon.”
  • July 9, 11 and 13: “Black Panther.”
  • July 16, 18 and 20: “A Quiet Place.”
  • July 23, 25 and 27: “Deadpool 2.”
  • July 30 and Aug. 1 and 3: “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
  • Aug. 6, 8 and 10: “Isle of Dogs.”
  • Aug. 13, 15 and 17: “Ready Player One.”
  • Aug. 20, 22 and 24: “Avengers: Infinity Wars.”
