Women’s Club to hold membership luncheon

The UB Women's Club will open its 69th year with a membership luncheon on Sept. 13 at the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo, 595 Delaware Ave.

Activity registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served at noon.

The cost is $26, which includes tax, tip and a donation to the Grace Capen Academic Award Fund.

The UB Women's Club is a service organization to the university and to the community. Members take part in educational and charitable activities that directly benefit the Grace Capen Academic Awards. The Grace Capen awards are given each spring to UB sophomores who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

Membership in the UB Women’s Club is open to all women who have a commitment to the university and to the Grace Capen scholarship program.
