Path Finder Tool: Get Help

There are many reasons why you may see the warning message: Pathway cannot be recreated. This page will help you determine if further action is required. 

Reasons why my Pathway cannot be recreated in Path Finder

1. You selected and saved a Pathway topic or course that no longer appears in the Path Finder tool. 

  • You are still eligible to complete your originally selected topic. If you need assistance updating one or more courses email
  • At the links below you will find the Pathway topics and courses available to students who entered UB fall 2016 through spring 2018. 

2. You selected a Pathway that includes study abroad credit. 

  • Study abroad credit needs to be manually applied towards your pathway selection by the Study Abroad Office. For questions regarding study abroad exceptions contact the Study Abroad Office at (716) 645-3912.

3. You selected a Pathway with your advisor that is not available in the Path Finder tool. Your advisor has submitted a petition to have your Pathway selection manually applied to your record.
