Shaurya Jain

Shaurya Jain is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. His expected graduation date is the spring of 2027. His work experience includes an engineering internship with Rich Products Corporation at their Niles, Illinois, facility, where he focused on optimizing plant production efficiency and enhancing output through practical engineering solutions and process improvements.

Jain is also actively involved with UB’s Cooling, Heating and Alternative Energy Research Laboratory, where he contributes to projects exploring innovative, sustainable energy solutions.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, he engages in campus leadership and student advocacy roles. As a member of UB’s chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Student Association, he has developed strong leadership, public speaking and written communication skills. He has successfully coordinated events, organized initiatives benefiting the wider student community and represented student interests effectively in discussions with university administrators.

Jain remains committed to leveraging his technical knowledge and leadership experiences to drive meaningful improvements in engineering processes and foster positive changes within his campus community.
