ORA is here to assist you with your grant proposals.

The Office of Research Advancement (ORA) offers a broad range of support for faculty across all disciplines for their grant proposals at any level of complexity. With the aim of achieving UB’s goals of becoming a top-25 research institution and doubling its research expenditures, the ORA provides comprehensive administrative and technical support to researchers as they form their research teams, identify collaborators, and develop their proposals.

Small- and Large-Scale Proposal Management.

Coordinate the entire proposal package; assist in supplemental document preparation; facilitate proposal submission.

Technical Document Editing.

Comprehensive proposal editing services for technical and narrative documents.

In-House Graphic Design.

Create comprehensive proposal visuals (i.e., Org charts; timelines; work plans; project organization; etc.).

Specialize Grant Support Services.

Consultation and development of Project Evaluation; Management Plan(s); and Research Impacts (Broader Impacts, DEI plans).
