The Associated Press sought comment from Vincent Lynch and open critic of “de-extinction” company Colossal Biosciences, for an article about the company’s recent claims of hatching birds using artificial eggshells in its efforts to bring back the extinct Moa and Dodo birds. The article debunks Colossal Biosciences’ claims of having brought back other extinct animals, including the dire wolf. “At least in the circles I’m in, there is unanimous agreement that these claims are unjustified,” Lynch said.
