MAGA is fuming over the Black national anthem at Super Bowl 2026 — and it says a lot

HuffPost interviewed LaGarrett King about the reaction of right-wing politicians to the performance of "Lift Every Voice and Sing," also known as the Black National Anthem, at the Super Bowl. “If Black history is American history, it cannot be divisive,” King said, adding, “The song is important to our imperfect history, and it is OK if we citizens are reminded of it from time to time.”
