The Washington Post quotes Jason Briner in an article about his research team’s collection of sediment from below Greenland’s Prudhoe Dome Ice Cap, which revealed that the ice had completely melted 7,000 years ago. The research was included in an article about how ancient clues in ice and rock can reveal climate change patterns. “It’s giving us a sense of X climate change equals X ice volume change,” Briner said. “I think it’s a really important data point from that perspective.”
