NPR interviewed Vincent Lynch in a segment on All Things Considered about a  study on how the bowhead whale may have evolved to keep cancer at bay, and how this might contribute to cancer research. “We have literally uncovered a handful of the mechanisms that are responsible for their cancer resistance. There's going to be a whole lot more to identify,” said Lynch, who was not involved in the research. The report was shared by member stations nationwide.
