The New York Post features Norah S. Lincoff in a story about some Ozempic users who are developing serious eye issues that lead to blindness. Lincoff is a co-author of a recent study examining semaglutide or tirzepatide users in their 50s and 60s who were prescribed these medications due to diabetes or obesity, and suffer from cardiovascular conditions, all of which can contribute to vision problems on their own. “We’re trying to elucidate if being on these drugs can increase your risk,” Lincoff said.
