UB expects record-setting enrollment for first-year students

The Buffalo News interviewed Christopher Connor on enrollment trends at UB. Connor said while UB expects a decline in international students, the university remains committed to bringing in as many international students as possible and making sure they succeed. “We remain really steadfast here at UB about international students. We are a welcoming environment to international students. They are a fabric of our university,” said Connor. He added that UB’s overall enrollment is still very strong and likely to exceed 30,000 students for the seventh consecutive year because of another record-setting first-year class of 4,880 to 5,000 students.
