Women’s Health quotes John Fudyma in an article about the major age-related changes that happen between 45 and 55. “We don’t really understand if it’s genetic, inflammatory…we don’t know why this seems to happen around age 50,” said Fudyma. “What the study does show is the key proteins that are needed for normal cellular function tend to decline around age 50,” he said.
