Covid-19 hospitalizations are rising, fueled by heat and waning protection

Bloomberg spoke to Thomas Russo about how COVID cases in the U.S. are continuing to increase rapidly due to waning protection and extreme heat keeping people indoors. Russo notes that as the heat continues, it pushes people to find activities indoors increasing chances for the virus to spread. However, Russo is hopeful that as people continue to get immunized, the virus could almost completely disappear outside of seasonal peaks.
