Business First interviewed President Satish Tripathi about his goal to make UB one of the nation’s top 25 public research universities. As university president, his plan to get there is by focusing on several initiatives. With more than 32,000 students and three campuses, Tripathi has to consider goals such as attracting top-tier faculty, creating good learning environments and updating facilities when needed. “We’ve been working on this goal,” Tripathi said. “At the end of the day, it’s the quality of the faculty, the kind of education we provide to our students and the inventions and technologies that come out of this institution, these are the critical things.” To access the story, login with the username libejn@buffalo.edu and the password: lockWood22.
