Heat is turbocharging fires, drought and tropical storms this summer

An article in The Washington Post quoted Susan Clark, about how record-setting heat is turbocharging drought, fires and tropical storms this summer. “This is climate change,” she said. “This increased intensity and frequency of temperatures and heat waves are part of the projections for the future… There is going to be more morbidity and mortality [from heat.] There are going to be more extremes.”
