UB President Satish K. Tripathi is quoted in an article on Forbes about how immigration reform can help the U.S. acquire new talent in the workforce, especially at a time when a large proportion of the labor population is aging. “[I]t is clear that ‘talent’ has become the focus of intense global competition … Demographic trends—for example, the aging-out of professional elites in Europe, Japan, and the U.S.—point to future potential talent shortfalls of unprecedented scale…,” Tripathi said.
