Is the new iPhone designed for cybersafety?

Published September 12, 2017

An article in the Los Angeles Times by Arun Vishwanath, associate professor of communication, about the release of the latest installment of the new iPhone looks at the phone’s features and how its development has made people less safe and secure despite efforts to steadily strengthen the encryption of its data. “Today, unsafe decisions are far easier to make on your phone than on your computer. The article, which originally appeared in The Conversation, also appeared in news outlet that include the Albany Times-Union and The Telegraph.
