An opinion piece on CNN by Arun Vishwanath, associate professor of communication, about the vital need for cybersecurity after hackers released contact details of thousands of FBI and Homeland Security employees allegedly taken from 200 GB of data from Department of Justice computers, looks at the growing number of attacks on infrastructure. “The democratized Internet gives everyone a voice. But it also makes just about anyone capable of inflicting massive damage. We need everyone's help to protect this increasingly wired world we live in,” he writes.
