Cuomo calls $200 million Athenex biotech plant a ‘game-changer’ for Dunkirk

Andrew Cuomo’s announcement Thursday that the state will spend $200 million to build a state-of-the-art drug-manufacturing plant in Dunkirk for Athenex, as well as $25 million on a North American headquarters for the company in downtown Buffalo, notes UB played a role in the company’s early development and holds equity in Athenex.
