UB offers home loans to employees who buy near South Campus

An article in the Buffalo News reports on the UB H.O.M.E. (Home Ownership Made Easy) program announced at a news conference Friday, which will provide financial incentive to UB employees considering purchasing homes in neighborhoods surrounding the UB South Campus. The article quotes UB President Satish K. Tripathi, who said, “UB is proud to call this vibrant neighborhood home, and with this program, now even more of our employees can do the same.” The article also quotes Mickey Vertino, president of the University Heights Collaborative, who said the neighborhood around the South Campus is “one of the best-kept secrets in the area. I definitely think it’s a step in the right direction.” Stories about UB H.O.M.E. also appeared in Business First, WBFO-FM, WBEN-AM, WGRZ-TV, WIVB-TV, WKBW-TV and Time Warner Cable News.
